ARCHIE
Archie, aka "Buddy" was a gift to our program from his owner who wanted him to come to a retirement spot to be surrounded with love and laughter.
A gorgeous gentle soul, Archie has ringbone and is only able to support our smallest riders. Getting daily meds, massage and the occasional chiropractic, Archie "tells" us this life isn't too bad. He clearly chooses his people...and once he decides to spend time with you the conversation is quite deep and full of connection. Wanting to be appreciated for what he knows, this senior will very clearly hold his boundaries and make clear when things aren't quite right.
His riders learn to speak their truth and stand tall...or make that sit tall in the saddle. A true gift indeed, we are forever grateful that he made his way to our program.
